Start with what you are actually storing, not the largest unit on the list. A small locker is enough for boxes, documents and sports kit. A 20ft container takes a typical house-move — sofas, beds, white goods and packed rooms. A 40ft is the one to pick for business stock or a full house plus garage.

All three plans include 24/7 security, padlocks and any-time access, with a one-month minimum. A £100 deposit holds the unit.
